Jerry Lewis

Speaking of concentration camps, here's a link to an article about Jerry Lewis's mythical film, The Day the Clown Cried: http://www.subcin.com/clownspy.html

Not sure why this intrigues me so much; maybe something about hubris producing something so heartfelt and so misguided simultaneously makes me poignantly ashamed of feeling heartbroken about it. It's absurd to pity people like Jerry Lewis, but I feel more genuinely moved by the idea of his making this film than I do about most pseudo-emotional events in my life.
